I've never been a fan of store bought cards. One, I'm cheap, and Two I'd rather make a more personal card. For Valentine's day I thought I would try to make a few hand made watercolor cards. I love how creative you can be with watercolor, and it's not an expensive craft. Here are the supplies you'll need;
Watercolor Paint: $6
Brushes: $4
Watercolor Paper: $10
Water
I buy most of my craft supplies at Joann Fabrics, because they always have amazing coupons/sales. I bought all of my supplies for $14. A simple DIY heart like this can take less than 10 minutes. I plan on writing a special note on the back of these. Punch a small hole, add some cute string, and also use them as custom gift tags for Valentine's day presents. I really have the worst handwriting, but even with my flawed cursive, I love how they turned out.

That’s nice! Why buy printed cards when you can create something that’s as beautiful as and actually more personal than store-bought cards? Not that I’m against the latter, though. I guess it will always be the thought that matters. Good day!
