Austin Restaurant Napa Flats + Giveaway

I had the pleasure of dining at one of Austin's newest restaurants, Napa Flats, the other night and was completely blown away.  I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but I left planning my next trip back.  I want to shout it from the rooftops when I find a good deal or have a great experience, and this is definitely one of those times.

We started with a cheese plate from local Antonelli's Cheese Shop (the jams were insanely good), and while we waited for our meal they brought out a tiny pizza making kit for Turner (no additional charge). Dough, pizza sauce and cheese. After Turner was finished creating his masterpiece, they cooked it in their wood-fire pizza oven, and brought it back nice and hot for Turner to eat. Can I just tell you how big of a hit that was! What kid wouldn't love it? Alex ordered the ribeye served with whipped mashed potatoes, roasted green beans, and chimichurri sauce. Alex told me I HAD to write about how delicious the sauce was. I ordered Tony's bow-tie pasta with a side of fiesta grilled corn.

For dessert I ordered the blackberry cobbler served with vanilla gelato, Alex had the Irish Car Bomb cheesecake, and Turner ate a cup of stracciatella gelato. All kids get a free cup of homemade gelato!

I highly recommend Napa Flats for families! There is a outdoor playground for kids which is a game changer for me as a mom of three. Parents can enjoy a glass of wine or a meal while their kids play....win win in my book. It's also great spot for a date night. The service was wonderful and the food was even better. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you get.

I'm giving away a $50 gift card to Napa Flats on my Instagram page so head over to win!

This post is brought to you in partnership with Napa flats, but all opinions are my own. Honestly, all was asked of me was to share a photo on social media but I had such an amazing experience that I wanted to dedicate a post and giveaway (being transparent here)!
