Easy Breakfast Casserole

It's that time of year when we gather with family and large meals are necessary to feed many mouths. I'm excited to share my family's simple yet delicious breakfast casserole that is always a hit!

This post is written by me on behalf of Tyson Foods, Inc. All opinions are entirely my own.

I'm not going to fool you and tell you I'm the cook of my household. During pre-marital counseling I warned Alex up front that I was not going to cook "often". I've never been a fan of cooking, even when my Dad tried to teach me. Thankfully Alex didn't mind, and has been cooking for our family ever since. Every once in a while I'll cook, but these days I'm usually entertaining kids.

When we visit family, we try to help out by cooking breakfast. Alex's go-to meal is a breakfast casserole made with fresh, hiqh-quality Jimmy Dean® Premium Pork Sausage with it's unique savory blend of signature seasonings.

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 - pound package Jimmy Dean® Premium Pork Sausage (try the hot sausage if you want to add a little spice)
- 1 (8-ounce) tube refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 cups Mexican blend shredded cheese
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a 13x9 inch pan
- Cook Jimmy Dean® Premium Pork Sausage in a nonstick pan, crumbling it with a spatula/spoon
- Drain
- Unroll crescent roll dough in prepared pan, sealing the seams
- Sprinkle sausage and cheese on top of dough
- Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over sausage and cheese
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes

The best part is you can make this ahead of time, freeze, and reheat when you need! It's a simple meal that is a family favorite! Doesn't make a big mess, and can be cut in to squares for easy serving. Tyson® products are the key ingredient to recipes and recipe hacks that can be enjoyed any time of day during the busy holiday season. Multiple meals, multiple times to bring joy! What are your go-to meals when you are feeding many mouths?
