Why You Need A HydraFacial

I'm going to cut to the chase and say if you haven't had a HydraFacial MD you need to get one ASAP! I'm sharing the steps of this amazing facial plus my wonderful experience at Austin's Viva Day Spa.

Whether you are looking to get rid of stubborn black heads, create a more even skin tone, have oily skin or want to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, this skin treatment can help! There is no downtime and it's non invasive. Viva Day Spa performs the Hydrafacial MD at their Domain location, and provides an overall wonderful experience! Here's a step-by-step guide of the process:

STEP 1: VORTEX CLEANSING & EXFOLIATION
Deeper than your average facial cleanse the technician uses a small tool that opens up your pores and sweeps the uppermost layer of makeup and dead skin cells away. This allows the skin to reflect more light, which creates a brighter and healthier appearance.

STEP 2: ACID PEEL
This may sound harsh but it's painless. The peel is compromised of a non-irritant mix of salicylic and glycolic acids to help loosen deep pore debris and dirt that you cannot get to with normal face washing.

STEP 3: VORTEX EXTRACTION
If you're like me and enjoy seeing what comes out of your pores, you'll LOVE this step! Instead of performing manual extractions, the technician will use the vortex-extraction nozzle that acts as a vacuum to suction out blackheads and impurities of the skin. The BEST part is after this step (if you choose) they will show you the canister at the base of the machine that has been filled up with everything that was extracted. Brittany at Viva is wonderful and gives you recommendations of what your skin needs. I didn't have much makeup build-up, but I did have quite a bit of dead skin so I was advised to exfoliate more.

STEP 4: SERUM APPLICATION
The final step involves the application of vortex fusion to deliver a pro antioxidant formula with potent peptides and hyaluronic acid into the skin. This is a detoxification step. This rejuvenates and restores the skin, creating healthy skin structure and function.

There are no side effects, and my skin was immediately brighter, softer and smoother!
