702 E. University Ave

Located on the west wall of Gus's Drug is my favorite mural in the city painted by Sara Blankenship! Not only does it have Georgetown spelled out in big bold letters with the city's iconic spots, but it also has beautiful red poppies. Make sure to visit before noon for the best lighting!

711 S. Main Street

Located on the rear wall of the oldest building on the square you'll find this colorful Texas themed mural titled, "Jumping Around" by Joe Magnano! I love the jackelopes, which are a mythical animal described as a jackrabbit with antelope horns. Grab a slice of pizza at 600 Degrees Pizzeria and walk directly across the street to find this fun mural!

403 W. 7th Street

Located on the west side of Texas Design Company you'll find this fun cowboy boot with the state flag. I'm a born and raised Texan, and love any opportunity to share the love of our Lone Star State. Next time I'll wear my boots 😉

808 Martin Luther King Jr. Street

This bright and colorful abstract mural is located on the west wall of Georgetown's City Hall, and was painted by, Norma Clark. Right next to it you'll also find the "Mary Smith Bailey" portion of the mural painted by Devon Clarkson. Mary Smith Bailey was the founder of the first preschool for non-white children during the period of segregation. The school alter became the Mary Head Start Center which is still in operation today and serves children of all backgrounds.

215 W. 8th Street

I love this colorful mural of Georgetown including red poppies, Southwestern University and the Georgetown Palace Theatre. It was painted by Mila Sketch and honors the past and depicts the future in it's design. It's located on the west wall of the local shop, To Have & To Hold

606 S Church Street

One of my favorite Georgetown restaurants, The Golden Rule, has this bold mural painted right next to the entrance. Austin is one of the "coolest" cities in America and hundreds of people move to it daily, but little do many people know Georgetown is one of the most beautiful and quaint little towns in Texas.

202 S. Austin Ave

Located across from El Monumento at the cross section of S. Austin Ave and W. 2nd Street you'll find this colorfully painted electrical box! This won't be the only painted box you see downtown, just head towards the square and you'll see them everywhere.

Georgetown truly embraces art, and these murals give the city so much life and color! Check out their Arts & Culture page for more art in the city!
