This beautiful little bench/mini couch caught my eye almost a year ago in the attorney's office right next door to mine. The man was rarely there, and when he was he seemed a bit scary and grumpy. After months of being too scared to walk in and ask him if he would be willing to sell the bench to me, one day I finally said to myself, "Just do it." What's the worst that could happen? He could say no? He was a little taken back by the random question, but then he replied, "Sure, I'll sell it to you." Oh boy...I just got the most amazing piece of furniture for $50 (It was hand crafted by his father-in-law)!
Moral of the story is "Just do it." I have a tendency of being scared of confrentation and the answer "No", that's probably why I quit my career in TV sales after 5 months. I can't wait to add this piece to my future home.
