It's about that time where I need to purchase a fall/winter coat. The only thick coat I own is a North Face, and those aren't the most formal jackets. Here are a few options I'm debating...of course I would get one once it went on sale (I might just be that crazy woman on Black Friday trying to get a deal). Which one do you like best?
P.S. - Why are Jcrew & Madewell so flippin expensive?
I'm also about to retire my current brown riding boots. Every woman needs a pair of riding boots in her closet, but this year I'm thinking about getting something a little different. I could stay with the classic mid-calf boot or go w/ a casual motorcycle boot, ankle wedge boot, or even a lace up. Decisions, decisions. I'm leaning towards the wedge since Urban Outfitters is having a boot sale, but there's something about ankle boots that I don't like. I think it might have to do with the fact that I've never owned a pair, and I have chicken legs. What pair do you think I should purchase?

I love the maroon coat and non-wedge lace-up boots. Mustard-colored anything and knee-high camel-colored boots are really in right now, but I can't imagine you wearing the same thing everyone else is wearing! :)
Have you tried looking for a coat on Gilt or Rue La La?
I found two great Michael Kors coats on Rue La La for GREAT prices! One was even a brown leather bomber jacket that was originally priced like $500! i’m obsessed.
