When I say "Kid Friendly" I mean there is an outdoor area where kids can freely play. If a restaurant doesn't have this it's simply a restaurant in my eyes. Here are the top Round Rock restaurants that include a playscape or enclosed area for kids to roam and play!

SALT LICK
Enjoy some of Texas' best BBQ at this great location next to Dell Diamond. There is a rustic outdoor area with picnic tables, plenty of shade and a playscape for kids! Grab an all you can eat family plate for $27 per person, kids 10 and under are $10, and kids under three eat for FREE! I can't forget to mention they have a full bar. Fill up and then walk over to a Round Rock Express baseball game!

HAT CREEK BURGER
Infamous for their amazing kids area with playscapes, slides, rock walls and more! Check out Family Night on Tuesdays where all kid's hamburgers are half off. Thursday night is $1 wine and beer night.

MAMA FU'S ASIAN HOUSE
You can find two locations in Round Rock, but our favorite one is located off of University because it has a miniature baseball field my kids are obsessed with. There's a pitching mound, bases and even bleachers and outdoor tables to watch your kiddos play while you eat! Teachers get a 20% discount daily. Check out their yummy kids menu here!

KERBEY LANE
Best known for their breakfast menu and infamous pancakes, Kerbey Lane has something for everyone! Open 24/7 they have a full bar, pet friendly patio and covered outdoor playscape. Kids eat free ALL day on Tuesdays with the purchase of one adult entree.

MIGHTY FINE BURGERS
Hands down one of the best burgers you'll get in Round Rock, not to mention the Bluebell milkshakes and homemade onion rings are to die for! They have a large outdoor patio with multiple picnic tables and a kids playscape. If your kid doesn't like burgers they also serve hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwiches.

*The playscape also shares a patio with Chipotle, Razoo's and Which Wich so it's a great place if the family can't agree on what they want. Everyone can grab something different and eat outside at a picnic table.

MANDOLA'S ITALIAN KITCHEN
Mandola's is technically in Cedar Park but VERY close to the Round Rock border so I'm including it. Delicious homeade Italian food, an awesome playscape with turf area, and an extensive wine bar. Kids meals are $6  and include a soft drink and scoop of gelato! Their Italian bakery is worth the visit (tiramisu, cannolis, Italian cookies and more)! I see online they have a location coming to Round Rock soon, exciting!

SLAPBOX PIZZA
Located in Round Rock's cute downtown square, Slapbox doesn't technically have it's own outdoor kids area but it's right next door to Prete Plaza which includes a splash pad and grassy area great for kids to run around. Slapbox has over 27 signature pies, an extensive beer selection, and are known for their giant slice which my kids love. You can easily take the pizza to go and head outside to enjoy your meal on the plaza!
