Fredericksburg is one of my favorite destinations in Texas for a girls' trip! Take your plans out of the group chat and book the trip...all you need is 24 hours to have a great time. Here's an itinerary that won't let you down!
STAY
Fredericksburg has so many great Airbnb/VRBO options but if you are wanting a classic hotel experience I would book a night at the Albert Hotel. This new hotel is next level...the decor, the pool, the food and drinks and service are exceptional! It's in the perfect location smack dab on Main Street in the center of town so you can walk right out the door and walk to all the shops and restaurants. What I love most is the history behind it and how they incorporated their story into so many details of the hotel. Another great housing option is through Porch Light Hospitality. They have dozens of various guesthouses each with beautiful styling and some have hot tubs, pools, fire pits and great kitchens for hosting large groups.
EAT
Breakfast: Old German Bakery (you've got to try the German pancakes...there will be a line so get there early or send someone to put your name on the list), Sunset Grill
Lunch: Vaudeville Bistro, The Auslander, Hill & Vine
Dinner: Otto's German Bistro, Jack's Chophouse, Mamacita's (my favorite local Tex-Mex)

DRINK
The wineries are what sets Fredericksburg apart from other Texas destinations. There are over 50 wineries making it the most concentrated wine region in Texas. There is a winery for every vibe and what your group wants to experience! Here are a few of my favorites;

- Grape Creek Vineyards (also a great spot to have lunch)
ENTERTAINMENT
I would consider myself a pretty down to earth person which means my #1 rec for a fun night out is a dive bar that is attached to a gas station, Buc's Bar & Grill. Think jello shots, subpar DJ, pool tables & well drinks.
I also enjoy the live music scene & bar at Crossroads Saloon & Steakhouse, Hondo's and The Saloon (right outside the Albert Hotel).
SHOPPING
Honestly 24 hours isn't enough to hit up wineries and shop on main street (at least for me anyway), but these are my favs on or near Main Street.
Fredericksburg, Texas is the perfect 24-hour escape for friends or couples, blending charming Main Street shopping, cute wineries, and delicious dining all within an easy walkable town!
