Summer is right around the corner and it's time to find your go-to summer cocktail! I was excited to partner with Beefeater Gin to host a Happy Hour for Austin Bloggers last week, and I can't wait to share with you details of the event!
Eberly was the perfect venue to host an outdoor happy hour! This was my first time visiting (I don't go downtown often), and the restaurant was jaw dropping. From the floors to the ceiling every detail was absolute perfection. I would love to come back for a dinner date with Alex.
I learned quite a few things about gin that night. 1.) Gin can be considered the first infused vodka and is made using botanicals which gives gin its flavor. 2.) It's my new favorite liquor! I was delighted to discover a refreshing, light and insanely delicious cocktail.
Sergeant Pepper:
Beefeater Gin
Cardamom Pink Pepper Syrup
Lemon
Basil
There was also an adorable DIY garnish bar for the historic Gin & Tonic cocktail which you can't go wrong with. Add a lemon and orange wedge to your G&T to highlight the citrus botanicals.
I couldn't have asked for better weather, and I had a blast mingling with some of my fave Austin bloggers. I also met quite a few new food and drink bloggers, and loved learning about their blogging experience!
