30 Day Optimism Challenge

This post is sponsored by Frost Bank, but all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for the supporting the brands I love!

You know how much I love a challenge, so I'm very excited to partner with Frost Bank to participate in a 30 Day Optimism Challenge starting today! Read on to get a look at what I'm planning and how you can join in on the fun!

I would say I'm optimistic most of the time, but I do find myself being a pessimist here and there. I would consider myself a realist. Over the years I've faced many challenges and I find optimism turns those challenges into opportunities. Research shows that choosing optimism can be a catalyst to a better physical, emotional and even financial health. Frost created this campaign to spark change and make people's lives better!

For 30 days you complete one small act such as introduce yourself to a neighbor you've never met, leave your phone behind and take a 20 minute walk, call someone in your family you haven't talked to lately and more! These daily acts will be small in nature, but collectively have the potential to make a big impact.

It's easy for me to get wrapped up in what's going on in my life. I feel this challenge will help me to take a step back and realize all that I have to be grateful for as well as what I could be doing better to help others. To sign up head to Frost Bank's website and provide your email. Every day you will receive an email with the daily challenge, and be encouraged to complete it. If you can't complete that specific challenge, you're encouraged to perform another small positive act. Today is Day 1 and up first is writing down 5 things I'm grateful for.

1. Healthy Family - I try not to worry about what "could" happen and live in the moment. At this stage of my life my husband, children and immediate family are healthy and happy.

2. New Job - Getting my new role was an up and down rollercoaster but I persevered!

3. Physical Health - It's easy to take our bodies for granted, but I'm so thankful for a body that allows me to exercise.

4. Passion/Drive - I'm grateful to have found my calling when it comes to my career. It's a wonderful feeling to know you're utilizing your skills and enjoy the daily work you do.

5. Blogging -  I'm thankful for this blog I started 7 years ago and the opportunities it has give me. I've made friends, experienced exciting things, and have been able to share my journey with others. There have been some tough posts over the years, but I'm grateful for the emails and messages I've received from others that have said my words impacted and/or helped them.

I can't wait to share with you all the great things that come out of this challenge. Let me know if you are joining too! Sign up here!
