Whitney's room is one of my favorite rooms in our home! Making it her own with pops of color and whimsical decor has been so fun. One of the biggest changes we made to the space was adding Walls Need Love removable wallpaper. We also added the "Outside the Lines" wallpaper to my son's room and it makes his room pop! I wasn't sure if it would stay up since we do have textured walls, but it has been over a year and there has been zero movement! The paper is thick and you can barely see the texture behind it. For someone like me who has painting PTSD from my first home, I don't like permanent things or having to repaint. Removable wallpaper is the perfect accent to a boring room yet has no strings attached if you want to change up in a few years. Whitney's IKEA dresser is in her closet, so the only furniture out in her room other than her queen bed is the nightstand and bookshelf. Walt and Whitney both sleep in here at night, so we do lots of reading before bed and like to see all the books. We also store her toys in baskets in the closet as well.
