I've loved having a home of my own to decorate for Christmas. Honestly, we haven't put up much decorations because we don't own very many. No lights on the house, no wreaths and no garland...sad day. Alex and I decided we would use the decorations we had from our tiny apartment to decorate our home, and then once Christmas was over we would hit up every holiday sale like mad men. Below is what's on our list.
Day After Christmas Wish List
- 7 1/2 Foot Tree (unlit)
- Pre-lit Wreaths
- String Christmas Lights
- Garland
- Wrapping Paper and other gift wrapping supplies
What will you be shopping for the day after Christmas? I might add Christmas chocolates to the list as well. I don't mind eating a Reese's Christmas tree in January ; )
We have a fairly small amount of memorable ornaments, but I love the ones we have so far. I can't wait to add more and more through the years.
The tree on the left is a 6ft tree from Wal-Mart we bought for $40 last year. I'll be using it in another room next year. The miniature tree on the right was $6 from Hobby Lobby (50% off), and I love how it showcases some of my favorite instagram photos.
