Alex and I went on a last minute date last weekend, and it included two of my favorite things...eating and shopping. We ate at my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant, Dos Salsas, and then hit up Academy and Target.  I spotted these green New Balance sneakers from across the aisle at Academy and knew they had to be mine (only $40)!

Kelly green and white hold a special place in my heart because those were my school colors growing up. I grew up in a small town so we only had one school district therefore our colors never changed. I might have had a TAD bit of school spirit ; ). I was voted Most School Spirited my senior year, and absolutely loved wearing green and white on Friday's for pep-rallys. I had a pair of kelly green high top converse that I loved wearing, and these are the perfect replacement.
