I was apprehensive to start writing out monthly goals, but since I started last month it's been a GAME CHANGER! There are a few goals on here that I would have never accomplished had I not written them down and had some accountability to get them done. Check out what I accomplished and what I'm working towards for April!

DONE and my booty is being lifted ; ) I've also started incorporating a spin class in every week or so. I hadn't worked out in over a year, and I was OK with it. Now I feel weird if I go more than two days without exercising. It's amazing how our bodies crave exercise once we introduce it in to our daily lives.
DONE. I had lunch with Stephanie Carls, super amazing YouTuber, and virtual friend I've known for TWO years but have never met in person even though we both live in Austin.
3. GO ON A DATE WITH ALEX
Whoops....couldn't find the time or energy to escape for a date this month. Counting down the days till our Mexico vacation.
Done. I have sooo many photos and it's hard for me to include everything, but I finally settled and threw it together! I use Shutterfly (not sponsored) and print a 12x12 hard cover book, which came out to $55 including tax.
Done. Not only did I plan the mixer but I hosted it as well. This mixer came together VERY quickly, and I kept it low key but it was a lot of fun. No speaker and no giveaways, but an awesome workout at SoulCycle and great swag for all guests!
1.) PITCH A DREAM BRAND
With my recent no shopping ban, I've started pitching more brands that I usually would shy away from contacting. It's been amazing to see the response, and I would love to pitch a few home decor brands.
2.) FINISH WRITING ABOUT MY DAD
It's been almost 4 months since my Dad unexpectedly passed away. I told myself I wanted to write down the last moments and memories I had of our time together, and what happened in the end so I never forget. Honestly, I doubt I'll forget any detail, but I want my children to be able to read about it. I started writing about it last month, and want to finish but it's extremely hard to find time alone where I can cry and write. It's an extremely emotional process and honestly it's not something I want to do but I feel like I must.
3.) FIGURE OUT PINTEREST
Group boards and scheduling posts is a whole other world when it comes to Pinterest, but I know it would be a game changer for my blog and bring in more monthly page views. This would also be great for my affiliate marketing partnerships, so I really need to figure Pinterest out. Time is the problem, and the lack of desire. But hey, that's what these goals are for!
4.) SIDE HUSTLE / EXTRA INCOME
I'm going to be honest and say that our financial situation is TOUGH right now. After daycare and bills we barely have any money leftover. I am in desperate need of a new laptop and camera, and would love to start earning some extra income so I can save up to buy them. I'm not sure what my side hustle will be but I need to bring in more money every month. Social media contract work? More sponsored posts? Any ideas?!
5.) GET A HAIRCUT
This might seem like a ridiculous goal, but it's extremely hard finding the time to sit for 2 hours and get my hair done. It's also EXTREMELY expensive and hard for me to pull the trigger on spending so much money on something that is going to grow right back. But ggggiiiirrrrrllllll....I want my hair to look good!
