Jumpstart Your Morning Routine

This post is sponsored by Nature's Way Alive Multivitamins.

What do your mornings look like? If you are a mom they likely look much different prior to having kids. If you are reading this and don't have kids, enjoy the calm and take advantage of it!

I'm excited to partner with Alive! Multivitamins to give you a look in to my mornings and provide you with some tips on jumpstarting your morning routine!

Mornings are the most productive time of day for most people. We are more focused, more creative, more energized (post coffee or water), and have the advantage of setting our attitude for the day!

I set my alarm to wake me up at least 30 minutes before my kids are awake so I can jump in the shower and get ready for work, but we all know things don't go as planned every day. Many mornings one of my three children will wake up super early, and I try my hardest to not let it throw me off. This is where I'm thankful for corny cartoons because they save the day so I can get ready.

After my shower Alex and I usually spend about 15 minutes getting ready together in the bathroom and chat about our day. I style my hair, put on my make-up, and then get the kids ready for school. One thing I need to start doing better is preparing Turner's lunch the night before because currently I'm making it for him every morning. Y'all...I was NOT expecting to be making my kid's lunch EVERY day. I was hoping to make it once a week, but Turner does not like the cafeteria food...NOOOO! I put $150 in his school lunch account at the beginning of the year, and I doubt he's used $10. Most super moms will tell you meal prep is key and I agree. It would save a lot of time and stress in the morning.

I will either take Turner by car to school or he'll ride with our neighbors since we're only a few blocks away. Alex loads up Walt and Whitney in the car by 7:10am and drops them off at preschool near his office. Before everyone goes their separate ways Alex and I will give each other a hug or kiss and say "Have a good day!". I usually remind him and the kids to take their Alive! Multivitamins before we head out the door. Alex and I love the gummy vitamins because they taste great, and are full of nutrients. My Alive! Premium Women's Gummies include the following:

- 16 vitamins & minerals with boron, choline and inositol
- Orchard Fruits & Garden Veggies powder blend (75 mg per serving)
- A full B-vitamin complex to help convert food into cellular energy*
- Calcium and phosphorus
- Supports bone health, eye health, and heart health*
- Made WITHOUT gelatin, dairy, yeast, wheat, peanuts, eggs, artificial flavors or preservatives
- Gluten free

I'm not the healthiest person so incorporating a vitamins in to my daily regimen is very important plus these are super easy to take!

Once everyone is out of the house it's GO time! I usually have about 30 minutes before I need to head out for work so I will clean up the kitchen, pick up rooms, get dressed and if there's time left I will get some blogging work in. I make sure to do all of it while listening to very loud dance music ; ).

My advice is to brainstorm the night before the next day all you need to get done in the morning. Do you want to get a workout in, enjoy a cup of coffee while reading your favorite book, finish folding laundry or cleaning up something you left from the night before? If you need to get up early to accomplish something, set your alarm clock ahead so you can get it done. I believe waking up early is key so that means going to bed at a reasonable hour is very important. I will say that not every morning is going to be perfect. Some mornings I feel like I've run a marathon and in those moments Alex and I simply embrace each other. We know it's just a phase, but man it can be frustrating. One day our mornings will be quiet. There will be no hustle and bustle. Our kids will be gone, and it will be just the two of us. Will we miss these busy mornings? We'll see ; ).

Do you have any morning routine tips or tricks? I'm ALL ears!
