To be honest since we moved in to our new home 2 months ago, I haven't invited anyone over. It's been an after thought as I've been so busy with work, house projects and summer activities. I've been wanting to throw a big House Warming Party, but I'm not sure when that will come! So instead, Alex and I invited three close friends over for a grill out on the patio. We already had ingredients for sliders, Alex had some steaks, and everyone brought their own beverages. An hour before they arrived I went to the store and grabbed some fruit, chips and dip and a bouquet of sunflowers. I kept it simple and the clean up was a breeze....my kind of party!
I love to have neutral servingware available for instances like this, where I need a platter or tray to throw snacks and food on last minute. Nothing was homemade, but it still looks cute and makes my guests feel special. I love this wooden 3 tiered stand from Wayfair, as it can hold all types of food! Not only can it be used for snacks, but also coffee cups and other decor when it's not in use at a party. It breaks down so you can easily store as well. It's on sale here and comes in three colors!
We played volleyball in the yard, grilled on the BBQ pit, and after the kids went to bed we chatted about life before and after college. Throwing a summer party doesn't have to be extravagant, all you need is good friends, some music, and enough food to feed everyone ; ). Cheers to more summer get togethers!
This post is sponsored by Wayfair but all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands I love!

Hassle-free summer entertaining is all about setting the right mood, and music plays a big role in that. To ensure your playlist is a hit, consider promoting your tracks to reach a wider audience. You can use https://promosoundgroup.net/ to boost your songs visibility and get more people grooving to your tunes this summer.
