You might say I freaked out a bit when I found out I was having a girl almost a year ago. I love my boys, but I dearly wanted to have a daughter. Well, I can now say it's more wonderful than I ever imagined.

Walt & Whitney: Newborn Photos
Just 6 days after Walt and Whitney were born, Kayla Snell, came to my home to shoot photos of the their new closet for The Container Store's blog. I asked her to snap a few photos of Alex and I with the babies as well and I am in love with them! Turner was at school so this photo shoot went much smoother than our family photos.
I was sweating profusely, felt fat, and my boobs were extremely swollen, but gosh dang it my hair looked good...haha. Their cute outfits and beanies are from Old Navy. I will cherish this images forever.

Baby Swaddling + Giveaway
There's no doubt that I am a HUGE fan of swaddling! My babies always hate the process of being swaddled, but as soon as they are wrapped up tight they immediately calm down. Swaddle Designs just released a new line of black and white muslin swaddle blankets and sent me a few to try. They are super soft and and made of high quality cotton. They are pre-washed before you receive them and get softer with every wash. The best part is the 123 Swaddle© pictorial that is featured on the inside every swaddle which is helpful for when your partner or family members who aren't pros at swaddling can easily learn!
Once my babes grow out of swaddling, I'll use them for blankets, car seat cover ups, burp rags or for changing when I'm out and about. It's always good to have one handy in your diaper bag. They are also perfect for newborn photos! You can buy these in sets, but I also like that you can buy your favorite patterns individually. See all the patterns here!
GIVEAWAY! I'm excited to be giving away 2 of the new black & white muslin swaddle single blankets (you choose your favorite designs) to one lucky winner! Easy entry on Instagram here.
You can find more awesome Swaddle Design products on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and their Website.
