Casual Office

Here are a few snapshots of outfits I've worn to work the past few weeks.  I wear a lot of flats, and casual pants since the dress code is business casual.  Every once in a while I wear my heels, although last time I slipped on the stairs and busted it in front of my co-workers. Thankfully I don't get too embarrassed, and just laughed at myself. One thing that stinks about my office is that it's always FREEZING! It doesn't matter how hot it is outside, it feels like Antarctica inside.  I'm not allowed a space heater : ( so I pretty much wear my jacket all day.  I've decided there's no point in buying new tops, I just need to buy jackets and long cardigans.  Sorry for the nursery pics, but you'll have to get used to them. It's either this or my work's bathroom.

TxSC Recap


I had a blast at the Texas Style Council event at the Domain last Saturday. We checked in at Loft, and thanks to Megan I found these awesome polka dot shorts! I'm seriously obsessed. It's time for these white legs to shine.  



Afterwards, we headed to Neiman Marcus where Indiana spoke about the upcoming TxSC blogger conference in August.  It is seriously going to be amazing, and prom dresses might be involved! It was great getting to chat with Linda, Indiana, Megan, Kirsten, Michelle and many other great women.  I look forward to partying with these ladies in the near future!



Lastly, I had the pleasure of being a blog hostess at Sperry Top-Sider for the Shop Hop.  Sperry's treated us ladies very well by providing tasty snacks and drinks.  They must have known that bloggers get hangry after talking, walking and shopping so much.

Texas Style Council Shop Hop + Sperry Top-Sider

Are you a blogger or just love to read them? If so, you should head out to the Texas Style Council's Blogger Mixers this coming weekend in Austin to kick off SXSW weekend. Join us as we celebrate fashion, blogging and wonderful women. The large conference is being post-poned till August, so stay tuned for more details!  Sperrys will be debuting their newest collection, "Milly for Sperry Top-Sider", which is full of color and perfect for spring.  Did I mention my sperrys are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned? Alex and I live in our Sperrys, and I'm pretty sure my Grampa has worn his for more than 30 years.  You can't go wrong with having a pair of these in your closet.  Here are a few of my favorite current styles!
