This is officially my last week in Abilene! I had a relaxing weekend, and found myself watching tv way too much. It was so weird not having to think about school. Friday, friends and I enjoyed a bon-fire in the freezing
cold. Of course we had to make s’mores,and
then Hope decided she wanted to make some popcorn the old fashioned way. Let’s just say the Jiffy Pop did not turn out
like she planned, it was pretty much our entertainment the whole night. Saturday I did some Christmas shopping at a few antique
stores in Abilene, which is always an adventure. I ended up finding the most amazing
dress. It was a size 8 so I thought it would
be too big, but I forget how tiny women were back in the day. The night ended
perfectly with friends watching Christmas Vacation. “You couldn’t hear a dump
truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant!” Sunday I attended my church for
the last time as a member : (, and the rest of the day was spent in sweatpants.
