A few days ago I hosted a VIP Blogger Event at Viva Day Spa to celebrate their Grand Opening at the Domain. It was an absolute blast although I didn't get to chat too much with my blogger babes, because everyone was in and out getting services (massages, facials, mani/pedis, laser hair removal and Dysport injections).

My First Botox Experience + Viva Day Spa
The past few years I've been hearing more and more about young adults having Botox treatments for the anti-aging effects. My friends and family have raved about it, and so I decided to give it a try! Getting treatments like this are extremely taboo, and I found that a part of me thought I was being weak or not confident in myself if I had Botox. I am a confident person, and know deep down I don't need Botox to feel beautiful. However, as I approach 30 aging has been more on my mind, and I was open to trying it at least once to see what all the hype was about.
Cue Viva Day Spa! I happened to walk in to the spa on their opening day at the Domain, and I was in awe of how beautiful the space was. I met the wonderful owners a few weeks later, and was invited to their Botox and Bubbles event. It was like the stars aligned because I had been contemplating Botox for a few months, and this was the perfect opportunity to try it!

A Much Needed Spa Day
I've always said that one of the best gifts I could ever be gifted would be a day at the spa. As this pregnancy has progressed, especially during the third trimester it has started to take a toll on my body. Not to mention I've been chasing around a 3 year old who loves to still be held by his mommy.
I was lucky enough that my wish finally came true this Christmas, and I got to spend 4 glorious hours at Spa Social! I had a deep tissue massage, facial and pedicure and in between each treatment I relaxed in a beautiful spa room, feeling snazzy in my robe. I dipped my toes in the jacuzzi, so wishing that I could jump in but I know it's a no-no good for pregnant women. Same goes for the sauna and steam room which I desperately wanted to use as well.

Men...if you are reading this, get your spouse or girlfriend something she really wants this year for Christmas. You can never go wrong with a spa gift card! Women, if you're significant other doesn't read blogs (highly likely), send him this link or drop a hint. I'm definitely the type of person to be very specific when asking what I want for Christmas.
Spa Social is offering an amazing holiday special for $199 which includes a massage, facial, manicure & pedicure! A spa day at this price is a ridiculous deal, and you get a pass to the amenities all day. You will seriously feel like a queen walking around in your fancy robe and slippers. Time it with your friends and you can have a full day of fun together. You are always welcome to bring your own wine/champagne!
If you are wanting to host a holiday party, but don't want to fuss of cooking, decorating, etc and you simply want to enjoy time with friends, a Spa Social Party is right up your alley. They are offering spa parties for $89 a person which include a chair massage & pedicure. You and your friends also get access to the amenities of the spa which include a sauna, steam room, pool and jacuzzi! Check out this post when I hosted my very own spa party!

SpaSocial Spa Party
I had the privelege of hosting a spa party at SpaSocial, a full service spa, in Round Rock a few weeks ago, and I'm so excited to share my experience with you! My two neighbors and my best friend paused their busy schedules to take some time out to relax and socialize....we sure did need it.
We then headed to our private spa party room, where we had the Wine O' Clock service which included a Mani, Pedi, and a Chair facial. Glorious! The winter has not been good to my skin, so this was the perfect timing as it starts to warm up (hello sandal weather). We did a lot of eating, sipping (lady like for drinking), and chatting.
The 2 1/2 hour party flew by! Afterwards, we headed to the jacuzzi to relax and chat some more. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better afternoon. We felt pampered and relaxed, then we stepped out and were back in to the real world...haha.
SpaSocial is based around a new concept of monthly memberships where members get special rates, and can use the facility any time (steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, pool). The spa parties are affordable, and totally worth the $. If you want more info about SpaSocial or hosting your own spa party click HERE. Check them out on Facebook and Instagram as well.
Disclosure: My friends and I were invited to SpaSocial, I was not paid for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
