Guys! I learned how to curl my hair, and now it will officially take me 30 minutes longer to get ready. I have been spoiled with curly hair that dries pretty good naturally, so the process of blow drying, straightening AND then curling feels like FOREVER. But it makes me feel super fancy!

I made a big decision on the way to get my haircut last Friday. I had no intention of changing up my hair, but rather just getting a simple trim. It was a beautiful Friday, I was in a good mood, and I just thought...What the heck? Why not? I want something different. Alex isn't a fan of short hair (probably because he watched me buzz the side of my head in college), but I knew in the end he would approve if I really wanted a change, AND it will grow back.
I showed a picture of Carey Mulligan's adorable hair to Sam, my stylist at Waterstone Salon, and she made my short hair dreams come true. Y'all she is amazing! Waterstone also has On-Site Babysitting...hallelujah. Turner loved playing in their children's room, and it was such a relief to not have to find someone to watch Turner so I could be pampered.
This ASOS swing dress is my favorite item in my wardrobe this season! It's extremely comfy, I can consume large amounts of food and still feel cute, and it can also serve as a maternity dress when I'm preggo.
