28 Weeks

I'm officially in the third trimester of this pregnancy!  I'm still feeling great, and have officially gained 15 pounds. I haven't been eating very healthy (this baby loves butterfingers & Coke Icees), but I continue to exercise. I've had to stop my Zumba classes due to the bouncing, but I'm enjoying my morning walks and weekly Body pump class.  I'll dedicate a post later to working out while pregnant, because I believe it is extremely important. I'm hoping it will make my labor go much smoother.

Alex's boss got this for us at the Apple Headquarters in Cupertino.  Alex is a bit obsessed w/his Apple products.

Dressing Rooms

I'm sorry if these self portraits get old. I don't have a full length mirror in my apartment or a husband that wants to take pics of me all the time ; ). So, this is the best I can do, dressing room photography.

Shirt: Gap. Dress: Macy's. Shoes: Mia via DSW. Belt: Thrifted

Got her blue jeans on

It's Friday, and I'm going casual.  This may not be the most high fashion outfit out there..ok, it's definitely not, but it's comfy and that's all I want at the end of a long week.  I find myself wearing these jeans (5 yrs. old) quite a bit with my cowboy boots (8 yrs. old). These two pieces together are pretty much the comfiest combo. I'm a jean girl, even in the summer.

Shirt: Forever 21. Jeans: Miss Me Boots: Justin. Purse: Michael Kors (gifted)

Yesterday, I decided to wear my new pair of maternity jeans. BIG MISTAKE! I thought I would buy one nice pair of jeans that would last me through multiple pregnancies, and I decided on these Mavi jeans from a Pea in the Pod that were on sale. They were extremely uncomfortable, and I felt like my pants were falling off all day.  The elastic came down so far I had to constantly pull on my tank top so the elastic wouldn't show. I am kicking myself for tearing the price tag off, because now I'm stuck with a pair of jeans I will never wear again.

On a brighter note, Alex and I are heading to Dallas tonight for the Coldplay concert tomorrow! Ahh...I'm beyond excited!

22 Weeks

Well, I'm actually 23 weeks pregnant, but I'm a bit behind on posting the photos.  Right now little Coulter is moving and grooving, and I'm loving it. He kicks me at work, and I am reminded that life is so much bigger than the issue I might be facing that day.  My nieces were able to feel him kick this past weekend, and it was such a special moment because they loved it, and giggled constantly. Especially my 4 year old niece, Katie. She thought it was gross at first, but after she felt him kick a few times she constantly reminded me that if he kicked to tell her so she could come feel.  She also reminded me not to eat too many donuts one morning, because he might get too full. I can't wait for him to be surrounded by his girly cousins. I know they are going to go crazy for him, and make him play dress up every time he visits...poor guy.

Snapshot

Quick snapshot of my outfit today. No maternity clothes here, but I know the rubber band wrapped around my belt loop is screaming, "Help me!" I'm not sure how feel about buying a belly band, so I'm about to give in and buy some nice maternity jeans. Any suggestions pregnant ladies?

20 Weeks

I'm halfway there!  I feel like it's been quite a while since Alex and I found out we were having a baby, but I have a feeling these next few months are going to fly by.  We have something planned almost every weekend this summer, which is exhausting and fun at the same time.  I guess we should get it all in, before our lives change just a bit ; )

We found out what we are having last week. Can you guess what it will be? My sister has 4 girls, and Alex is one of 3 boys in his family...hmmm? I'm enjoying the belly as it comes in, and haven't experienced any symptoms or problems yet. Although, my Zumba classes are becoming a bit more difficult. Stay tuned later this week. I will be announcing what we're having!
